I tried to check how true the jaws were to each other with .005 shim and a piece of paper that was about .0004 tenths. I couldn't find any spot that was off. Clamp test with fixed torque had perfect repeatability under .001 thou. Not much to really complain about, a small paint blemish on the handle and maybe the lead screw threads could have been little smoother? Longevity? Time will tell.
