Seems pretty sturdy and solid and it seems to be that with some minor modification (new mounting plate) they can be made to work with right side shift for my 1974 sporty. They arrived with minimal to no damage and for the price they were a steal. Very shiny, so if you're going for a blackout build hopefully they have them in black.
