Seller Notes: “Good Antique Condition: This early 1900s amber glass pharmaceutical jar was produced by Eli Lilly & ... “Good Antique Condition: This early 1900s amber glass pharmaceutical jar was produced by Eli Lilly & Co., Indianapolis, U.S.A., likely between 1910–1920. It originally held a compound such as Whitfield’s Ointment Modified, used for treating skin conditions. The jar measures approximately 4.5 inches tall by 3.75 inches in diameter and has an estimated capacity of 27.6 fluid ounces (roughly 1.75 pints). The amber glass is free of chips or cracks, showing typical surface wear and age residue. The original paper label is around 50% intact with “Eli Lilly & Co.” and some product text still legible. The metal screw-on lid is present, showing heavy rust and oxidation, possibly fused in place. A beautiful example of early 20th-century medical packaging, ideal for display in antique pharmaceutical or apothecary collections. Please review all photos carefully to assess condition.”
