This regulator is for 990 bikes who have the regulator mounted on the side of the engine, not under the seat in front of the battery like mine. I can't really blame the seller for that mistake, it happens. Very quick shipment, very nice price. Connections unprotected, so you need to apply dielectric grease to seal them from water and dirt.
