When I got this item, it was packaged in the standard bubble mailer and when I went to install the cable, it was too short. Fortunately, I was able to get a coupler and after all related components were installed, the DELL PowerEdge R730 was able to detect the PERC HBA330 along with the HP 4TB SAS HDD. Therefore, the condition is how I expected it to be and it appears to function as I expected it to.
