        Ebay sends out automated "Leave Feedback!" reminders without checking if item got delivered yet, which hits wrong in cases like this where the item got lost in the mail. Sellers have no control over these messages. Even though Ebay closed the case in my favor, I issued a full refund to the buyer as that's the ethical thing to do. The Post Office made this transaction a bummer, but perhaps we can do business again some day.
