Amazing case with the date in faded period script '1868'- the Golden Age of Meerschaum as Ben Rapaport named it. Only a couple of artisans today are able to carve as beautifully as these old European (Viennese?) masters. Carefully packed and sent insured by UPS (Thank you!). Hard to find these miniature pieces of art in nice condition available for purchase. So much dross on the market to wade through 😃🏆A+!!!
