The Acratech Arca-Swiss plate looks pretty good, but has one unexpected shortcoming: The 3/8" screw is not captive in the plate, so having undone it you'll need to be careful not to lose it. Most plates like this have some form of retention of the screw, so this is disappointing for a part made by Acratech.
