Synopsis
This book is fiction. The story that inspired it was not. In 1990, a box of very old documents was found on a small farm in the west of Ireland. They had been stored for well over a hundred years and told an incredible story of suffering, of love and of courage. In 1846, a young couple met during the worst days of the Great Irish Famine. The Killing Snows is a way to imagine what led to their meeting and what followed from it.

- 1***s (3)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseWhen I called to ask what was delaying the arrival of the DVD, they told me that they hadn't sent it because it was "defective". When I looked back at the description, I saw that the item was described as new. I believe that something mighty fishy went on with Goodwill Southern AZ. My suspicion is that they sold my new DVD to someone else after first selling it to me, and, instead of being truthful with me, made up the "defective" story when I called to ask why I had not received my purchase.
