    The seller packed very well, item was as described. Excellent item. But the courier just dropped item outside my house on the ground, 'tracked delivery', someone could have taken it, and because tracked I would lose out. If tracking shows delivered, then ebay believes the tracking. This is happening all the time now with post/couriers.

    You can ask a seller to add "signature required" to address label. I understand drop offs, signs on doors in my apt complex say "resident not here, leave at office". I often see boxes from private companies on doorstep, right next to sign.
