I did give it a 3 for shipping costs but that is UPS fault for charging an arm and a leg. I figured out that I can plug a MP3 player into the CD changer AUX ports and listen to them through the main unit. Even if the CD's do not work you can still play MP3's throught it. For the cost of a couple of CDs you can have 1000s of MP3s playing through the Bose using a MP3 player and a couple of cables
