This cheerful farmyard picture book comes with 15 loose lithographed, magnetic animals to keep toddlers amused for hours. The animals have backings like those on refrigerator magnets. The book's glossy and extra-heavy pages each have a metallic interior that will hold the animal magnets in place. All four of its double-page, full-color illustrations picture Farmer Muddle, his family, and his animals at various times of day. What makes the pictures unusual is the fact that most of the animals are missing from them. It's up to children to use the set of animal magnets and complete each scene in any way that pleases them. The animals include a goat, a sheep, a horse, a pig, a cow, a dog, a cat, a duck, a rabbit, some chickens, a pair of mice, and even a butterfly! Kids simply open the book and slide open the barn door on the inside front cover. There they'll find the animal magnets. The book has a sturdy red plastic carrying handle attached to its spine and a matching red tab to keep the covers closed when kids carry it around.
