The width of the ring is a little deceiving in the pictures. It stops him licking the top half of his body but not the bottom which is the area he's over grooming so it's a bit useless for me. Would suit if you're trying to stop them lockig at a spot on treatment or something though and it fits perfectly around his neck, he hasn't gotten it off in a week so it's good that way!
