    While the char on the chips is ok, I was very disappointed in the size of the chips. Much smaller on many of the chips and I would call it sawdust. While I wanted the chips for adding some additional character to my wines, the fineness of the chips requires a lot of fishing to recover the chips and some extra racking steps to get rid of the sediment.

    Thanks for your order and for your feedback. I am sorry that you were not happy with the size of the chips. However, in fairness, your description of the chips as being 'sawdust' is simply not true. The listing photo shows the actual product and the chips range in size averaging about 1/2in with many pieces measuring 3/4in, 1in and even longer. There may be some fines at the bottom of the bag. However, that would be the case with any product. Thanks again and we appreciate your business.
