Black bottom casing, gunmetal gray appearance on top, looks & feels like quality hardware you'd expect from BlackMagic Design. Wheel is SMOOTH, you can spin it and let go & it will shuttle & jog thru your footage. Got this as a new DaVinci Resolve user, and although learning editing, new software, & new hardware all at once is a steep learning curve, its speeding the work.
