On receipt it was apparent this wasn't true and I contacted the manufacturer who asked me to send pics and confirmed that it was an old 2G version which was discontinued more than 2 years despite the seller advertising it as "brand new". Seller has now relisted it the same again. If it has the short 65mm aerial and does not say 4G it is the old 2G version.
