    Well now my tailgate drops way too slow. I might have a dud, but the shock is so strong that not only was installing it a pain, but my tailgate drops 1/3 of the way down and slooooowly descends from there. About 7 seconds from start to finish. I've worked it back and forth to see if it'd loosen up, but no luck. That's my only gripe, the mounting hardware is good.
