But they were a bit too wide for the carburetors and rubbed on the sides of the carb fuel chamber. See pics. The new floats (shiny) are almost 4 mm wider than the oe floats (dull). It looks like they would interfere with proper float operation which could cause fuel starvation or fuel overflow leakage, which could be dangerous. I suggest all floats received from the maker be checked for proper size and the maker notified of this issue..
