Women's coats have the buttons on the left, men's are always on the right. Buttoning it up feels awkward and with button holes cut into it already, it's going to take a fair mount of repair to make it wearable AND LOOK SOMEWHAT NORMAL. I bought two jackets to sew them together to make a robe. HUGE, EXPENSIVE MISTAKE.
