Higher end pots have no residual variation when changing direction on the screw. These pots, when going ccw to lower the output voltage, actually go up a bit before starting to go back down. When going cw to increase the output voltage, it is steady as a rock. So, for anyone else buying one, start from a lower output & then increase & you should be fine. These are obviously meant to be "set it & forget it". O.K.

Beware because some dc-dc's just shut down all together or have current surge. I do see soft start switch with hope I don't have to add external circuit to avert above problem.
