- 1***l (30)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseThe part was delivered quickly and was inexpensive. The headset is sold as a replacement for an early Schwinn bike. I have a '72 Suburban (sim to Varsity and Continental). However the upper cup faces up, and is pressed into the head tube. Not a great design WRT rain exposure. The original has the upper cup facing down, with the inside race pressed into the head tube. Also, the OD of the cups is a bit small, needing some teflon tape as a shim. The quality is very good, and it turns smoothly.
