The USB device arrived quickly. I was able to install it in my Yamaha piano and make it work. The device pretty clever, and it is hard to believe someone made a retrofit for the floppy drive on our old piano. It was a bit intimidating to install, but it was mostly just taking out a bunch of screws, replacing the floppy drive with the USB drive, and putting them all back right away. The instructions were adequate about how to install it and create a USB drive with 1000 floppy drives on it.

This item fit perfectly within the piano. Yes I needed 4 hands to make the switch because of all of the little screws, but it was a simple remove and replace with everything fitting snuggly. Our Roland KR177 sounds beautiful when playing recorded music and live music.
