A silicone gasket between the bulb & rear flange would really help in that respect and prevent the ingress of dust between the bulb and the diffuser. There is no way to rate the product itself, which I would give 4 star. So I'll have to rate the item description down one star.it's a shame really because it's actually a very well manufactured fitting.Great seller A++++Thanks
