I wasn't looking for a refund just advising the seller, and their response was, we've never had issues before and it was checked when dispatched. Like I was lying. He was saying maybe I should revise the design. I just explained that in 20 years I'd not been aware of the rope snapping after delivery. They are dispatched in boxes and checked carefully. So I won't revise the design. All of our products are tested thoroughly before going on sale. I have a feeling I would not have received a negative had I just refunded, rather than acknowledging his advice.
