- i***j (459)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseThe lowering links are not precisely built. The 3/8" threaded connecting rods were all cut at different lengths resulting in a vehicle that could not be lowered evenly at each corner. Everything supplied in the kit can be purchased at harbor freight for under $40. I ended up purchasing and cutting my own connecting rods to make the kit work but would avoid unless its the only option for your vehicle and you don't mind different heights at each corner.Reply from: aptires- Feedback replied by seller aptires.- Feedback replied by seller aptires.Actually, the rod length is immaterial. The overall length of the link is what adjusts the ride height. This is done by screwing the heads up or down on the rods to either lengthen or shorten the link. Since the thread pitch on the rods is all the same, you can adjust the links to the same OAL regardless of how much of the rod is inside the heads. It is the head to head length that matters. Also, please show me where Harbor freight sells these Metric ball joints and the M6x1.0 rod as well.
