The Intel E6600 is a capable mid-range microprocessor that gives your aging motherboard a second life.Compared to previous generations of chips, the Intel Core 2 Duo features a number of hardware specifications and improvements to the processor's architecture. The Core 2 Duo E6600 has 4MB of L2 cache, which is the part of the microprocessor that stores the most frequently accessed data on the CPU. This is twice as large as the L2 cache on the E6300 and E6400 processors in the same family.
