I gave this only 3 stars because the threads are insufficient to 'lock' it into place on either end (large or small). It's as if it needed at least one more thread, but I don't know about these things. It's solid, it's metal, but the threading does not permit for a 'locked-on' feel. It spins, especially on the small end (43mm) after tightening as much as you can. -- Usable, but doesn't give a sense of confidence that it won't fall off.
