When it arrived I was able to cut a fringe and leave bangs on the side. There are two side clips. I brush a little bit of my own fringe forward, fit the hair piece across the top of my fringe then brush the rest of my fringe across the join. I then sweep the bangs back to cover where the clips are and fix with a slide on each side. I've even shampooed it!
