This game gives you the chance to build, manage, and maintain your very own amusement park. Starting with an open field, the player adds items such as rides, shops and food stands. Your park is displayed as a living 3D world with operating rides and wandering customers. The goal is to build a successful park that will win world-wide acclaim.<br><br>There are several decisions to make in building a park. The player must lay down paths, rides, and lines for the rides. Food and souvenir shops can be built to generate revenue and increase the satisfaction of customers. A number of landscaping features can be placed to make your park more attractive.<br><br>The player also has a number of managerial functions. Staff members must be hired to repair rides and provide security. The player has control over all prices and salaries at the park. Additional activities include playing the stock market, allocating funds for research, and union negotiations.<br><br>The success of a park can be gauged instantaneously by the number of visitors and the thought bubbles which show their current attitude. Your park is also rated on its features at the end of the year.<br><br>There are three levels of simulation. At the highest level there are many difficulty options that may be set by the player. These options include the amount of starting funds, number of opposing parks, and the fussiness of the park customers. A tutorial mode is available to help you through your first game.
