Product Information
Now you can play pool and English billiards on your Atari 2600 in Imagic's Trick Shot. Play solo or against a friend or practice your trick shots by yourself.<br><br>You shoot the cue ball by rotating a dot around it and placing it in one of 32 positions. This is where your cue will strike the ball. Press the red button to strike the cue ball; the longer you hold it the harder you will strike the ball. You can also lean the joystick in the direction you want to place "English" (back spin) on the shot; the longer you lean the more spin you will put on it. Be careful not to lean too much or you will hear the felt rip!<br><br>There are nine trick shot combinations in this game, and you can practice them alone or play against a friend. You earn points depending on the number of balls you sink with each shot. A perfect score is 37.<br><br>If you want to play pool, you can do so with three object balls and the cue ball. There are five racks in each game, and one point is score for each ball sunk with two for the final ball in a rack. The first player to 25 wins. If you're playing solo, you just shoot to 25.<br><br>English billiards is played with two cue balls and one red ball. You score different amounts of points depending on how you sink the red ball and whether or not you use your opponent's cue ball to do it. The first player to reach 50 points wins. This game can't be played solo.
