The lid was cracked because these two reasons: 1. The box is not wide enough to accommodate the turntable. 2. They should’ve put peanuts inside the turn table, taped the turntable mat and the 45 adapter. The cost of the turntable is fa less than the shipping charges and the proceeds go to donations so I am not going to make a big fuss returning it. All I hope is to retrain the staff properly on how to package
