Records, The Oranges Band (brainchild of Roman Kuebler of Roads to Space Travel / Spoon) is finally ready to unleash their debut full length, recorded in Michigan by Juan Carrera (Warmers, Skull Control.) the album has twelve super catchy pop songs that showcase Roman¹s forceful vocals alongside the jangled-out guitars, lush harmonies and an exceptional rhythm section. The Oranges Band cites influences as varied as Guided By Voices, Elvis Costello, Brian Eno, Television and Velvet Underground in the creation of their sound. The undeniable hooks and soaring guitars also evoke 60's girl-group pop and mod bands like the Jam and Joe Jackson. 11 tracks. Lookout. Amish Records. 2008.
