Series Two sees our intrepid and tanned holiday makers on the second week of their Spanish break. Having been made redundant from his draughtsman's job, David Pearce (Keith Barron) and his wife Amy (the glorious Gwen Taylor) are using some of his redundancy money to pay for a foreign holiday together. They are staying at the San Remo Hotel, Marbella on the Costa Del Sol, where they have met Robert Cochran and his beautiful wife Linda. Linda and David were instantly attracted to one another and are still attempting to have a holiday romance. There are even more farcical secret rendez-vous between them, and avoiding their spouses--the brusque Amy and boring, straightlaced Robert--is getting more difficult, particularly with the Spanish waiter around. Co-written by RISING DAMP'S Eric Chappell DUTY FREE was first shown in the mid-1980s.
