The condition was "New" and they did exactly as they described - installing whatever adapter you chose and putting on a velvet like grip. My only additional thing I would add is that it would have been nice to be able to choose the grip type. That's just a minor thing though. This was a great shaft at a great price. The seller communicated throughout the process and the item was delivered quickly at a reasonable delivery fee. Well packaged.
