<h2>Ron Guth</h2><p>The 1907 Liberty Head Nickel has the second largest mintage of the entire series and, at the time, the largest mintage of any Nickel to date.&nbsp; Despie the big mintage, the 1907 Nickel is no more common than any of its contemporaries, nor does it come any nicer.&nbsp; Certainly, coins in grades ranging from MS63 to MS64 are encountered frequently, and even Gems are relatively common, but anything above MS66 simply does not exist.</p><p>Usually, this date is well struck, the luster is crisp and bold, and the top examples often show a little bit of color.&nbsp; The finest examples (two PCGS MS66+s) look completely different in terms of eye appeal, but both are amazing coins (see images of these superb coins above).</p>
