The mechanics with one look at it and said that it was not the full harness and not the equipment that he initially ordered. It was tape wrapped around exposed wires.

Luckily, this wasn't the reason why it was needed to be replaced and ended up being able to finish the job. It would have otherwise been a complete catastrophe.
