It has a bright sound and the volume louder than my other mandolin which was bult in Tennesse - USA. I bought a hardshell case and gave it a good polish which greatly improved the overall look. Imperfections in the finish are minor and the build quality seems precise, glue joints neat. Packaging and shipping good - 3 wks for international shipping. Never spoke but good seller.

Overall, very well constructed from very beautiful flamed maple and spruce. There were some minor blemishes in the finish and the seller was very gracious in working that out. After a few hours playing and setting the bridge the way I like, It's playing very well. It sounds great. I knew the mandolin I was looking at on Ebay wasn't the mandolin I would get, the one I got was better. Technically it wasn't set up but all I really had to do was place the bridge and adjust the action. The seller was easy to work with and responsive.
