However, this was not the part that broke on mine, it was the plastic handle and the handle does match the existing locking mechanism exactly, so no issues, I just left the existing locking mechanism there and installed the new handle. All is working perfectly. Only difference on my 2019 is that the button was black and this one is chrome, but only an anal retentive person would notice :-)
