    I think it should have been noted that the item didn't come with the bottom plate, and that the bluetooth pairing only works on Windows machines. Since this didn't come with a dongle, I assumed the bluetooth connection would work on my mac but it doesn't and the supported software from Logitech doesn't work on newer mac os versions. The missing bottom plate is only known once you look at the full part list for the mouse and it should be much more clear that it wasn't included.
