Randy, I know it is never fun to have an engine failure. As discussed, the cylinder I sold you was in perfect shape and did not self destruct. From your photos its clear that the Namura piston that you installed has deep scores from the bottom of the of the skirt traveling upward into the cylinder which then caused the ring collide with the exhaust port. These type of marks are almost always caused by pieces of the crankshaft bearings coming apart. Even still I offered you a return for a refund.
