All of this drama to replace a water softener o-ring that was leaking by (after 8 years). I bought the OEM o-ring but it leaked by. I went to an o-ring dealer but they only had sae sizes. So I am back to trimming a much larger size o-ring to fit or teflon taping the OEM one. I don't know.
