Reviews
great read THE HISTORY OF THE CLADDAGH RING is a very interesting read. It has a lot of facts, secrets, and information regarding the story behind this popular ring. I doubt there is a person among us who has never seen this ring before. I have a bracelet with a fun story. Nancy Warren held a contest to give a bracelet with this symbol on it and I won. She spends a lot of time in Ireland as a lot of her books are based there. It was a thrill of a lifetime for me! I won something! I had no idea of the history behind the symbol. It is a read you don't want to miss. It is a short read packed with a lot of facts. I highly recommend it. I think all of us enjoy anything Irish. There are a lot of us that have a little bit of Irish in our bloodline. A fun and enjoyable read to get for yourself or as a gift. I was not paid for this review. I am not a writer, nor do I know one. I am not kin to this author. I am NOT a bot. I am a reader, and this is my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. 12/3/2023. - Gatorfan An entertaining book about the Claddagh Ring I have had a love of Ireland since I was a young teenager and was excited to pick up The History Of The Claddagh since it is my favorite Irish symbol. This book was very interesting and even though I knew about the story of the legend of Richard Joyce, I also enjoyed reading about the history of the ring, the other legends surrounding it, and how to wear it properly. We had an Irish wedding and my wedding set is a Claddagh, so I loved this book even more. This book is both the perfect read about this heartfelt symbol and also would make a great gift for friends and family who love everything Irish. - Carrie Lowrance Claddagh Ring and so much more! This little gem of a book is perfect for anyone with an interest in the famous Claddagh ring and the storied history of Ireland! The fishing community of Claddagh comes alive through photos, drawings, and the author's native Irish charm and wit. My late mother's Claddagh ring is mine now, and whenever I wear it, so many people ask questions about it. With this book, I can now answer them confidently, and even pass on the old legends. So happy to have found it! - Amazon Customer
