On both jacks, this drop leg was just slightly too large to fit easily inside the jack tube (was the correct size for a pressed-fit installation, but that would defeat the purpose of an adjustable drop foot). I had to carefully remove material from the leg tube with a flap disk to reduce its diameter until it would slide into the jack tube. Once that was done, I was satisfied with the function of the drop leg.
