      The design has changed since my last purchases and require extensive modification to fit in order to set the action of the guitar correctly. This either requires the use of shims in the neck pocket, grinding off the bottom of the posts approx 2mm or filing down the threaded pads. I didn't bother fitting them in the end.

      no....... the design hasn't changed at all........ there's nothing you could do to change it. I did(very helpfully) suggest 3 ways of getting around your issue OR offer a refund upon return. But alas, no, keyboard warriors don't want something as sensible as a refund, they'd rather keep the items which they claim are no use to them, and leave negative feedback like a spoilt child. 10/10 for being a buffoon!!
