Unit doesn't power on.. Item advertised as "tested and working" - item description inaccurate and needed to include detail regarding the actual working condition. I would not have purchased this if it had been listed honestly.

This unit was tested with batteries (which weren't included, as stated) & a CD. It was working as it should. The only thing I wasn't able to test was the sound as I don't have headphones to plug into it. I have never & will never list something as working condition when it isn't working. I'm not saying your batteries were bad but it may be worth trying with different batteries to see because this was definitely a working player.
