    I have been using these Rest in my Teaching studio for years with great success. You have to know how to adjust it for each body type. The only draw back is the size. take up a lot space and if your constantly flexing and bending it to access it. Hardware will become loss and worn. I get about 10 years out of mine. Also the spring steel base acts as spring to hold the edge of the instrument. Make sure both feet are parallel and don't slide feet against back.
