    These kits flat out do not work. I own an auto shop and figured I would give this cheap alternative a try. Well, the saying holds true, you get what you pay for. The front mounts do not line up with the factory strut mount bolt holes and the overall diameter of the mount is too small. There is no hole drilled for the locating pin. The sellers answer to this was that his "engineer" says the bolt hole diameter is correct and that they "install with tension". Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere..

    We have actually installed over 15 of these kits in our shop and yes, you are right, the hole alignment is not perfect, but the material is malleable and it can be stretched. At the same time I replied to you that we have started the process of making new spacers for the e53 that take your comments into account and when we are finished I will send them to you without any extra charge.
