Decided to keep the "wrong" strings and try them out. Like heavy strings, these things are super jangly. Lots and lots and lots of harmonics, like a dozen church bells banging loudly from inside my guitar. Small e string broke last night after an entire week of nightly abuse. Not sure if I will buy the light gauge again, but only because they are light.
