Happily surprised that the size ordered (a UK women's 16) was pretty much true to size as so often this type of item turns out to be the weird Chinese sizing that is nowhere near UK sizes. My only (minor) gripe is that the white fabric / washing label is stitched in to the side seam... I will have to carefully unpick some stitches to get that out (not easy with arthritis & a tremor) - black or even stick-on labels are available!
