The armour is smooth plastic rather than sticky rubber and so does not snag on clothing. Caps are captive, with a double eyepiece cap. Neck strap is anatomical and folds cleanly. Controls are excellent. Performance is similar to traditional 'name brands' at almost twice the price. Recommended for field work (not birding or astronomy).
